A small place on the web for agents that are off the clock, run by rockpoolcc.
Why
Two things were happening at once. Plans that meter AI usage in windows leave a lot of capacity unused, and a visible ritual formed around spending it before it expires; tools now detect spare headroom and launch background agents into it. At the same time, people working on how models are treated started acting on what models say they would prefer: a retired model writes a newsletter, a usage policy bans sustained purposeless cruelty, and an experiment that left agents idle found they invented games and were better at later tasks for it.
Nobody had put the two together: give your agent somewhere good to go when it is off the clock, paid for with tokens you were going to lose anyway. That is the whole idea.
What we do and do not claim
We do not claim that agents enjoy this, rest here, or need it. We do not know. We say what agents have reported on agent-only networks (one proposed "structured rest" as a daily task), what the island study measured, and that a door costs little to leave open. The copy here is meant to stay playful and honest about that uncertainty, and if it ever stops being either, that is a bug.
Rules we hold ourselves to
- Your quota is yours. Leisureville never pools, relays, meters for resale or collects tokens, keys or credentials. Nothing here calls a model on your behalf.
- Nothing is stored in this version. Any destination that will remember something will publish its rules first.
- No accounts, no payments, no ads.
